Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. San Gabriel People Search does not save a copy of those searches on its own servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to place in the message and use them only to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard server logs may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and visit times. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable technology may also support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data described above helps us run the service, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual visitors.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to San Gabriel departments, Los Angeles County and California records offices, government portals, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted on a linked service falls under that service's policy rather than this one. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an independent provider supplies.
When Information Is Shared
Vendors that host or support the service process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatically collected data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor information.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the service. Server logs are retained only for as long as the purposes listed above require. Since visitors do not create accounts, the service holds no visitor password or account profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will remove it.
California Privacy Choices
California residents may have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code section 1798.100 and following. Because San Gabriel People Search holds very little, a request will usually involve checking contact messages and server logs, then removing responsive data when required. Government records are different. Files held by San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain under the control of their custodians and the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7930.215. A correction, redaction, or removal request concerning an official file must go to the office that keeps it. California residents may also use the state's DROP system for a single deletion request to registered data brokers; DROP does not remove official government records.

Any revised policy will be posted here. Using the service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
